Predicting is important because it allows students to improve their comprehension skill. Before they finish reading, they can guess how the ending will be and leave a comment on the page the teacher has posted. Reading others' comments also allow them to practice reading✌☺

-Have you encountered the situation where you just don't know how to develop their skills??
-Have you used a creative material for the class?
Teachers should always ask students questions about their readings and experiences so that they can make connections between them so that they have better understanding. These questions should be answered both before and after the reading. The questions can be posted on blog!
Blogging allows students to be creative, have fun, and study at the same time. They can learn to use videos and other Apps to be even more creative. Blogging gives both teachers and students to use all kinds of tool on one page! Because reading in class takes large amount of time and limits their choices of reading, students can work on their own through a blog. Before they start using blog, teachers have to teach them the basic knowledge such as skimming and scanning in class.

Here are some strategies teachers can use using a blog!πππ
1. Choosing
Always let students choose the topic! It is very important for them to have an interest for what they are reading; Otherwise they will find it boring and just give up. Teachers can pick some articles or stories from online which are suitable for them and put the links on a blog. Teachers can post a blog for each reading and have an instruction for it.If you want to read more about the strategies...↓

Visualizing will help them organize what they have read. After finished reading, they can draw an image or write about the image they come up with, post it on their blog, and share it with each other. They can always leave a comment on their peersπ
4. Making connections/Questioning
5. Building Vocabularies
Because of the limited vocabularies, EFLs might struggle when reading. Teachers can pick some of the words which are important for them to know from the reading, make a list on a blog. They can either check the meaning on their own or teachers can put the meaning in simple words on the list in advance. Using their own language to look up the words will also help them.
Blogging allows students to be creative, have fun, and study at the same time. They can learn to use videos and other Apps to be even more creative. Blogging gives both teachers and students to use all kinds of tool on one page!
